When standing on the bridge the house is very obvious on the wooded hillside.

These systems are having problems locating our post code-PL27 6DL- several different systems have all dumped friends several miles away! We suggest you use your system as far as the Ball Roundabout on the A39- then switch it off and use our directions and map to locate the house.
Streetmap also has erroneous information- despite us telling them it still has Gonvena labelled as Egloshayle- a suburb of Wadebridge a mile to the East of Gonvena.
There is room for about 5 cars to park in our courtyard- the town car parks are only five minutes walk.
Directions to Pencarn from the north
At the mini roundabout head towards Wadebridge town centre. Follow the road past Wadebridge comprehensive school and shortly after turn right towards Gonvena and St Giles (post box in the wall). Then take immediate left at sign which says 'Private Road Residents Only'. After a short distance fork left down an unmade track. Pencarn is the last house on the right.
Directions to Pencarn from Wadebridge town centre
From Wadebridge town centre- cross the old bridge over the river Camel-turn left to Bude- past Julian Foye's furniture shop (Pencarn is the large white house on the hill immediately in front of you as you pass the shop). Continue north up Gonvena Hill past Derry's Garage and The Ship Inn public house. After about 100 metres turn left into Gonvena and St Giles. Then take immediate left at sign which says 'Private Road Residents Only'. After a short distance fork left down an unmade track. Pencarn is the last house on the right.
